ParkSyde isn't a crisis service. These are — free, confidential, and open right now.
Lifeline13 11 14 13YARN13 92 76 Emergency000A side-on running and jumping game drawn on this screen. Left and right arrows run, up arrow or Space jumps, Space starts. On a touch screen there are three buttons instead: left and right arrows at the bottom left run, and the up arrow at the bottom right jumps and starts. This is a visual, real-time game and cannot be played without sight; the How to play button says more.
A side-on running and jumping game. You are a park ranger crossing three levels of ParkSyde — Sunny Meadow, Sunset Ridge and Night Grove — collecting leaves and fruit, bouncing off springs, stomping litterbugs and reaching the flag at the end of each one. Three lives, then back to the start.
Nothing here needs a mouse, and nothing on a phone needs a keyboard: the three buttons are the whole of it.
This game cannot be played without sight. It is a drawn, real-time platformer: the whole of it is reacting to where a platform, a gap or a litterbug is on the screen, and there is no sound or text that carries that. A keyboard, a switch or a one-handed grip is fine — sight is not optional. We would rather say so than let you find out by falling.
Score, lives and level changes are announced as they happen, so a screen reader will follow along, and the chess board at Quinn’s Grandmaster Academy is fully playable without seeing it.
