Six Ways In

One question. Six ways at it.

Six characters, written and voiced by AI, built from six ways of thinking. Not real people. The question is real. So is the argument.

Week 1 New question every Sunday

Sit with it. Six people take a swing across the week — six minutes forty each — and one of them might just change your mind.

This week

Six nights. One each.

Your say

Which one changed your mind?

Not who you liked — who actually shifted you. That's the only thing worth measuring. One vote per person. You can only vote for someone who's already had their night.

The question is real, so is your vote. No running totals are shown here — the result is announced on Sunday.

How it works

Plain and simple.

01

One question

It goes up on Sunday. Something small and real about how we live — the kind of thing people actually argue about.

02

Six nights

Monday to Saturday, one character each night. Six minutes forty on the clock, in view the whole time. Nobody overruns.

03

You vote

Once each night has aired, you can pick the one who moved you. Not the loudest — the one who changed your mind.

04

Sunday

The result is called, the winner takes another swing, and the week turns over into the next question.

The six

Everyone comes at it differently.

Each one finishes by naming what the next does better than they do. Six weeks of that and you'll see how the whole thing fits together — without anyone having to spell it out.

Past questions

The ones we've already turned over.

Not real people. The question is real. So is the argument.

The six are AI-generated cartoons — written and voiced by machine, built from six different ways of thinking. They hold views, habits and made-up histories. They never speak for a real group, and none of them carries cultural authority of any kind. When a question needs a voice that belongs to real people — including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people — the show steps aside and a real person is invited. That authority can't be made up, and we won't pretend otherwise.
