Cleaning — the park

Inside the Cleaning shop at ParkSyde, drawn in the park’s own low, warm dawn light. A still pool of light lies at the centre of the room, holding the dawn. Nine trees stand spread around it, each mirrored faintly on the floor beneath it, and two lamps on posts flank a footpath of light leading in. Near the pool: a drum vacuum with its wand leaning out, a mop stood on end, three buckets, one on the other, a cleaner’s trolley with its bag hung off the frame — nobody is behind anything, and nothing stands between them and you. Spread out across the room, each on its own post, are six brass push buttons. Their labels, floating over them, read: What it costs; How a job starts; What we’ll ask you; Where the work happens; Ask for a time; Reach a person. Pressing one walks you over and the shop tells you that one thing.

The same crew, the same rate, three trades: One published hourly rate covers all three, and it is one crew: mowing and grounds and small-motor repairs at Kobe’s. If you are already having one done, the others are the same phone call and the same rate — see the fees page.
What is not written down: Whether there is a minimum, what happens about travel, and whether you need to be there on the day. None of that is published on this site, and we would rather hand you the gap than a guess at it. Ask when you ring and you get the real answer.
