Your privacy at ParkSyde

We take the trust you place in us seriously — especially when what you share is personal. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we look after it.

Last updated: July 2026

ParkSyde Life Pty Ltd ("ParkSyde", "we", "us") provides counselling, NDIS support and community programs.

We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy describes how we do that. If anything here is unclear, please get in touch — we're happy to explain.

What we collect

We only collect information we reasonably need to help you. Depending on how you interact with us, that may include:

We ask for sensitive information (such as health information) only where it's necessary, and with your consent.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use it for advertising to you.

This website

Good to know: the contact form on this site opens your own email app with your message ready to send — it doesn't transmit or store your details on this website. Your enquiry reaches us as an ordinary email.

This is a simple, static website. We don't use advertising trackers or third-party analytics, and the site doesn't set cookies to profile you.

When we share information

We treat what you share as confidential. We only disclose personal information where:

Counselling confidentiality. Conversations with your counsellor are private. There are a small number of limits — for example, where there's a serious risk of harm, or where the law requires disclosure. Your counsellor will talk these through with you.

Keeping it safe

Protecting what you share matters to us as much as anything on this website. In plain terms:

Please also keep your own devices secure when you contact us. And if you ever have a question about how your information is protected, a real person will read it and get back to you — just get in touch.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you and request that we correct it if it's wrong. Just contact us and we'll help.

Concerns or complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page.
